The novelty lies within "monotony"

Thank you for the appreciations and heart-warming gestures being shown regarding my previous blog. It motivated me to write this one.

So today, I am going to tell you about something that is a part of our lives i.e. monotony. Let’s see.

“There’s a story of a man and his wife, who were living a very sound and sorted life. The man was an accountant and the wife was a home maker. He used to leave at 8 in the morning for office and at 8 in night, at his home. His wife used to clean up the house like a hotel, everything at its place. He used to wait for his husband and then they used to have dinner together. So one can imagine how normal life they were living. And one day, this thought of “monotony” in their lives made the man frustrated and self-flagellated,   but being generous, he didn’t show up this thing to his wife and being plain , he had his dinner that night and went for a sleep. Next day, when he was coming back to his home from his office, he thought of giving a surprise to his wife by orchids and chocolates. So he bought those and while heading towards his home, he had a grin on his face and was expecting something that would amuse him more, but when he reached home, he was shocked!! Flowers and chocolates that he held in his hands were, in amaze, fell on the floor and what he saw was unexpected! There was no one at his home and all the things that used to be at their places, were on the floor and the whole thing was so messed up which made him anxious about what happened! He was sweating bullets in the chilly night and wandering here and there in search of her woman, he fell on the floor. When he went to his bedroom he was looking here and there and then he saw a letter, a letter from his wife,  “I am going to my mom’s house as she had an heart attack and your phone wasn’t reachable , I will be back within a week “ . He got a bit relaxed after he went through the note and he called up his wife to know about her well-being. She answered the call and said sorry for leaving the house in abruption. The man got relaxed and satisfied with the thought that everything is fine.

The thing happened that day was beyond his thought and his “monotonous” life but he learnt a thing that monotony may be boring, but somewhere it is blessed.

We people want to make our lives as adventurous as the life of famous people but we should be knowing the value of contentment and the value of being normal. Every person wants to lead a life that is full of fun, but we often miss the things that helps in making fun i.e. our friends. Just like being friends with people for long time doesn’t lead to boredom then why not the life which we are being gifted. We should know the value of being sober and how does it lead you to a better life, you will get to know by yourself.

Love your life , your people , yourself!
